About This Firearm
The HK P30 is a hammer-fired DA/SA 9mm built for duty and home defense. It has an MSRP of $949 in the V3 configuration, which has a rear decocking button and no manual safety. Its grip frame takes interchangeable backstraps and lateral grip panels in 27 combinations, and two spare backstraps and two extra sets of grip plates come in the box.
Two 15-round magazines come with it, and the sights are fixed, an open square notch rear with contrast points. The slide has no optic cut. The controls are ambidextrous, with slide levers on both sides, an ambidextrous magazine release and a patented lock-out safety device, and the DA/SA build carries a spurred hammer. HK gives 11.5 lbs for the double-action pull and 4.5 lbs for single action, so the first shot is heavier than the rest.
