Oregon Deer · PH-01 Painted Hills 01
Oregon PH-01 spans 1,554,360 acres, centered 24 miles north-east of Prineville. 35% of it is public land, mostly national forest (24%) and BLM (10%). Its most applied-for hunt, PH101, put up 1,254 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 82 nonresident first-choice applicants, 19 of whom drew, and the last tag went to someone with 1 point.
New for 2026: The First Draw Held Here
PH-01 did not exist before the 2026 deer draw. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife drew it over the older units: 69% Unit 38 — Grizzly, 17% Unit 37 — Ochoco, 14% Unit 45 — Fossil. Each of those pages keeps the odds history for the ground. The chances below are that one draw's actual results, not an estimate, and there is no point-creep trend to read yet.

About These Numbers
Odds are from the 2026 draw, the latest on file, computed from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's published results. They are what happened in that draw, not a forecast. Under five tags a percentage carries a *, because one applicant either way swings it. A dash means the agency did not publish the number, and a date marked expected is last cycle's schedule rolled forward. How we compute these.
