New Mexico GMU 33 covers 1,453,922 acres and lies 30 miles east of Roswell and 39 miles north-east of Artesia. 62% of it is public land, mostly BLM (38%) and state trust land (23%). In 2025, 608 people hunted deer here and took 165 — 27% of them killed something. The 2026 draw put up 15 tags here for 79 first-choice applicants.
