Idaho Unit 37 covers 450,014 acres and lies 54 miles north-east of Ketchum and 64 miles north of Hailey. 90% of it is public land, mostly BLM (49%) and national forest (38%). In 2025, 615 people hunted elk here and took 251, a 41% success rate (sum of published weapon rows). Its most applied-for hunt, 2012, put up 100 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 168 nonresident first-choice applicants, 10 of whom drew.
