Idaho Unit 11 covers 487,232 acres and lies 21 miles south-east of Lewiston and 31 miles south-west of Orofino. 26% of it is public land, mostly state land (19%) and BLM (6%). A further 11% is tribal land rather than public land. In 2025, 41 people hunted elk here and took 23 — 56% of them killed something.
