Colorado GMU 361 covers 52,896 acres and lies 31 miles north-east of Gypsum and 44 miles south-east of Steamboat Springs. 74% of it is public land, mostly national forest (43%) and BLM (24%). In 2024, 440 people hunted elk here and took 57, a 13% success rate.
