Colorado GMU 15 covers 314,999 acres and lies 23 miles south of Steamboat Springs and 38 miles north of Gypsum. 66% of it is public land, mostly national forest (51%) and BLM (10%). In 2024, 1,460 people hunted deer here and took 502, a 34% success rate. Its most applied-for hunt, DM015O3R, put up 335 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 101 nonresident first-choice applicants, 79 of whom drew.
