Wyoming Hunt Area 81 covers 396,615 acres and lies 13 miles south-west of Cody and 35 miles south-west of Powell. 63% of it is public land, mostly BLM (29%) and national forest (21%). In 2025, 260 people hunted pronghorn here and took 262 — more than one animal per hunter. The 2026 draw put up 30 nonresident tags here for 274 first-choice applicants.
