Oregon Deer · SW-02 South Wallowas 02
Oregon SW-02 covers 908,652 acres and lies 26 miles north-east of Baker City and 39 miles south-east of La Grande. 53% of it is public land, mostly national forest (41%) and BLM (12%). New for 2026: The First Draw Held Here
SW-02 did not exist before the 2026 deer draw. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife drew it over the older units: 43% Unit 63 — Keating, 31% Unit 53 — Catherine Creek, 27% Unit 62 — Pine Creek. Each of those pages keeps the odds history for the ground. The chances below are that one draw's actual results, not an estimate, and there is no point-creep trend to read yet.

About These Numbers
Odds are from the 2026 draw, the latest on file, computed from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's published results. They are what happened in that draw, not a forecast. Under five tags a percentage carries a *, because one applicant either way swings it. A dash means the agency did not publish the number, and a date marked expected is last cycle's schedule rolled forward. How we compute these.
