Oregon Deer · FX-02 Fox 02

Oregon FX-02 covers 973,265 acres and lies 61 miles west of Baker City and 70 miles north of Burns. 41% of it is public land, mostly national forest (36%) and BLM (5%). Its most applied-for hunt, FX102, put up 1,210 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 72 nonresident first-choice applicants, 26 of whom drew, and the last tag went to someone with 1 point.

New for 2026: The First Draw Held Here

FX-02 did not exist before the 2026 deer draw. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife drew it over the older units: 73% Unit 47 — Northside, 15% Unit 65 — Beulah, 11% Unit 48 — Heppner. Each of those pages keeps the odds history for the ground. The chances below are that one draw's actual results, not an estimate, and there is no point-creep trend to read yet.

About These Numbers

Odds are from the 2026 draw, the latest on file, computed from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's published results. They are what happened in that draw, not a forecast. Under five tags a percentage carries a *, because one applicant either way swings it. A dash means the agency did not publish the number, and a date marked expected is last cycle's schedule rolled forward. How we compute these.
