Colorado GMU 41 covers 209,743 acres and lies 17 miles east of Grand Junction and 27 miles east of Fruita. 63% of it is public land, mostly BLM (35%) and national forest (27%). In 2024, 1,702 people hunted elk here and took 348, a 20% success rate. Its most applied-for hunt, EM041O1R, put up 950 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 562 nonresident first-choice applicants, 554 of whom drew.
