Colorado GMU 14 covers 261,545 acres and lies 12 miles north of Steamboat Springs and 42 miles east of Craig. 86% of it is public land, mostly national forest (85%). In 2024, 1,293 people hunted elk here and took 151, a 12% success rate. Its most applied-for hunt, EE014V1A, put up 600 tags (all residencies) in the 2026 draw for 218 first-choice applicants (one pool for residents and nonresidents).
