Arizona Game & Fish Department has not offered a pronghorn license in 3BS in any draw we hold. It has a page because the agency still publishes harvest for it — the Arizona pronghorn hunts that are on offer are drawn elsewhere.

How the hunting has gone

What Arizona Game & Fish Department publishes for this area after each season — harvest statistics for everyone who hunted it, not draw odds and not a forecast. Arizona Game & Fish Department publishes these per hunt rather than per unit; the rows below add its own figures together, since a hunter holds one tag for the species in a season. Arizona's figures come from AZGFD's post-season hunter questionnaire - survey estimates carrying a 90% confidence interval and a return count, not a census of animals checked in.

Season Hunters Harvest Success
2021 7 5 71%
2020 6 2 33%
2019 12 6 50%

What the agency says about the area

AZGFD publishes no separate boundary for this hunt unit: the map, acreage and land ownership shown are for the whole of Unit 3B, of which this unit is a part. AZGFD's current regulations booklets define only the northern half of Unit 3B: "3B North Hunt Unit - That portion of Unit 3B located north of U.S. Hwy 60." No printed definition of a 3B South hunt unit was found in any document fetched.
