IWI Masada 9mm vs IWI Masada Slim 9mm

Same family, same controls: both are striker-fired polymer 9mms with a trigger safety, a 6.0 lb pull, interchangeable backstraps, an optic cut and two magazines. Size and capacity separate them. The IWI Masada 9mm is full-size at 17 rounds, a 4.1" barrel, 7.5" overall, 5.6" tall, 1.34" wide and 22.88 oz. The IWI Masada Slim 9mm is a subcompact at 13 rounds, a 3.4" barrel, 6.3" overall (1.2" shorter), 4.9" tall (0.7" shorter), 1.14" wide (0.2" narrower) and 20.32 oz. The Masada uses 3-dot contrast sights front and rear; the Slim runs a white dot front with a blackout rear. MSRP is $534.99 against $450.00, an $84.99 difference.

Pick the IWI Masada if:

• You want 17 rounds rather than 13 in the same trigger and control layout
• The 4.1" barrel and 5.6" grip height give you more to hold and a longer sighting plane
• You want 3-dot contrast sights front and rear rather than a blackout rear

Pick the IWI Masada Slim if:

• Concealment drives the choice: 1.14" wide and 4.9" tall, 0.2" and 0.7" under the Masada
• You want the lighter carry weight at 20.32 oz
• The $450.00 MSRP is $84.99 below the full-size gun

Trigger, safety type and optic readiness are identical across both, so the whole decision is grip size and width against four rounds of capacity.
