.35 Whelen Trajectory Calculator
The .35 Whelen is a hard-hitting big-bore cartridge based on the .30-06 case necked up to .358 caliber. With a 200-grain bullet at 2,675 fps and a 100-yard zero, expect about 4.7 inches of drop at 200 yards, 9.9 inches at 250 yards, and 17.3 inches at 300 yards. The combination of bullet diameter and energy makes it effective on elk, moose, and black bear inside 300 yards.
