A 20 gauge kicks less and weighs less than a 12, which makes it a good fit for upland birds, youth and smaller shooters. Pick a pump like the Mossberg 500 for simplicity and cost, or a semi-auto like the Benelli Montefeltro for softer recoil and faster follow-up shots. The guns here all have field-length barrels, so they are set up for birds first.
