Prvi Partizan's 90-grain JHP is for shooters who want a light, fast .25-06 Remington load with a hollow-point bullet. A jacketed hollow point is a lead core inside a metal jacket, with an open cavity at the nose. This one leaves the muzzle at 3,300 fps.
At the muzzle the 90-grain bullet carries 2,177 ft-lbs. Most of that energy comes from speed rather than bullet weight, and the light bullet keeps recoil down: it pushes back less than the heavier bullets used in most .25-06 hunting loads. The hollow point also leaves the nose of the bullet open, where most .25-06 hunting bullets use an exposed lead tip or a polymer tip.
Buy the Prvi Partizan 90 if you want a light hollow-point bullet at 3,300 fps with less recoil than a heavier .25-06 load. Pick Hornady's Superformance 90-grain CX instead if you want a bullet its maker markets for medium game.
