Wyoming Hunt Area 120 covers 373,311 acres and lies 16 miles west of Thermopolis and 34 miles north-west of Shoshoni. 15% of it is public land, mostly BLM (13%) and state land (2%). A further 64% is tribal land rather than public land. In 2025, 150 people hunted white-tailed deer here and took 74 — 49% of them killed something.
