Montana Hunting District 596 covers 943,884 acres and lies 26 miles south-east of Roundup and 37 miles north-east of Billings. 13% of it is public land, mostly BLM (7%) and state trust land (5%). In 2025, hunters took 101 pronghorn here; hunter counts not published.
