7mm Backcountry Trajectory Calculator
The 7mm Backcountry is a high-performance wildcat cartridge optimized for long-range hunting with heavy 7mm bullets. With a 170-grain bullet at 3,000 fps and a 100-yard zero, expect about 2.8 inches of drop at 200 yards, 5.9 inches at 250 yards, and 10.3 inches at 300 yards. The combination of velocity and high-BC bullets makes it effective on elk and mule deer past 500 yards.
