Buy this as the everyday practice load for a shooter whose carry ammunition runs about 1,150 fps: the Remington Golden Saber 180-grain BJHP is listed at exactly that velocity, so this load and HSM Training are the closest recoil match to it on the site. It also makes USPSA major with room to spare. If you want full-power feel, Magtech at 1,230 fps or Winchester USA Ready at 1,250 gets you there. If you want the softest session, Armscor at 1,008 fps gives about 20 percent less recoil energy than this load in the same pistol.
