Compared with Hornady's Precision Hunter 103-grain ELD-X, the Trophy Gold carries a lighter bullet, 95 grains against 103, and starts 100 fps faster. The two leave the muzzle with nearly the same energy, and the Trophy Gold kicks about 12 percent less in the same rifle.
