It leaves the muzzle at 2,590 fps, which is quick for a 123-grain 6.5 Grendel load, and the fast start is the main reason to pick it over the slower Grendel match loads.
Compared with Hornady's 123-grain ELD Match, the American Gunner starts 10 fps faster and kicks the same in the same rifle. The ELD Match carries a different bullet, Hornady's polymer-tipped ELD Match, and Hornady markets that load for target and match shooting.
