The HK VP9A1 X Tactical is a suppressor-ready VP9A1 that pairs the full-size grip with the shorter K-length slide, then adds a threaded 4.7-inch barrel. HK launched the Tactical models in January 2026. At $1,149 it competes with the other factory-threaded, optic-cut service strikers for the buyer who plans to run a can and a red dot.
Suppressor-height sights come standard and co-witness in the lower third of a red dot window, and the slide takes nine HK adapter plates. The Walther PDP Pro SD Full Size 5.1" costs $150 less, holds 18 against this package's 15, and has a longer barrel, but weighs 2.7 oz more. The FN 509 Tactical is $160 cheaper, the same 7.9-inch length, and weighs 3.6 oz more. The HK VP9A1 F costs $100 less if you do not need the threads.
