The P211-GTO is SIG Sauer's double-stack 1911, a hammer-fired single-action pistol that feeds from P320 magazines instead of 2011 magazines. It is a compensated range and match gun for shooters who were about to buy a Staccato or a steel-frame CZ. It weighs 45.9 oz on a steel frame, with a 4.4-inch bull barrel and SIG's 3D-printed MACH3D compensator.
The magazine is the practical difference from other 2011s. Anyone who already runs a P320 has spares, and SIG lists its extended P320 magazines alongside it. The Staccato P has no compensator and weighs 12.9 oz less. The CZ Shadow 2 is close in weight at 46.5 oz, but its slide is not cut for an optic. Buy the P211-GTO if you want a compensated, optic-ready 2011 for matches and range days and you already own P320 magazines. Skip it if the pistol also has to ride on your belt all day; the lighter Staccato P is the better fit.
