Buy the UMC for zero checks, drills and steel at 100 to 200 yards, where the American Eagle's lead is small. Pick the American Eagle if your targets sit at 300 to 500 yards, where it drifts less in the wind and drops less. Pick Prvi Partizan's 150-grain FMJ if a lighter kick matters more to you than muzzle speed. For hunting, Federal's PowerShok Copper 150-grain is a copper hollow point with no lead core that Federal markets for big game; it leaves the muzzle at the same 2,910 fps as the UMC.
